A Meaningful Song

All final year students:

Teachers brought us up, as well as our fathers and mothers.
Now all of us are graduating from the Youryuu Female Academy High School, and once more we offer our gratitude. From here on, everybody will make progress along this road, one at a time. Today's promotion we will never forget.
From tomorrow onwards, we will walk forward.

*Conversation between the two girls*

Girl 1: From this moment onwards, a year later or 5 years, or even 10 years...no matter how many years pass by, how do you think we'll remember today?

Girl 2: Hmmm... I have no idea.

Girl 1: "Ahhh, that was so sad," even now I can pretty much remember the same feeling. Even so, as I remember that, everyone will become so busy or maybe wonder, "I guess that was kinda sad."

Girl 2: I won't forget, ever.

Girl 1: They left for home already, It's too early!

Girl 2: I want to stop time.

Girl 1: What?

Girl 2: I want things to stay forever this way.

Girl 1: Well then... shall we go say goodbye?

Girl 2: To who?

Girl 1 : To the school, you coming?

Girl 2: I'll stay here a little longer.

English Translation

By the window in the classroom is a bright, sunny spot.
The Spring calendar doesn't have much space left on it
During class, I look around and although we're wearing the same school uniform,
everybody looks like an adult.

With each of our own future,

It gives us the freedom and courage for tomorrow.

There were times when we fought, called each other, and cried
Why do those troubled days feel so nostalgic?
There was joy and sadness...looking back, it was a journey.
